The Holidays are finally upon us and with that comes holiday parties!!! I am currently on planning mode for my first party of this season in a couple of weeks (eek!!), so I thought I’d share with you all my “gingerbread” house party I hosted last year. This was a colorful and fun event! This is a great activity for kids and grown ups. The kids loved decorating their houses and eating all the leftover candy! Below are some photos from the party. Enjoy and let the holiday parties and crafting begin!
To make my “gingerbread” houses I used graham crackers, store bought frosting and a waffle cone to serve as a Christmas tree. I made these the night before using this tutorial. This was super easy to make!
I decorated the table with the houses, sweets, flowers and candy.
And of course we had to have a pretty cake and bar cart!
My little one was my party planning assistant…what can I say, like mother, like daughter!
And the houses turned out beautiful!
