Hello there! Looking for a quick and easy dessert to enjoy what’s left of summer? I got a super easy one for ya! A couple of weeks ago I shared a pic of my strawberry short cake mini jars and got some requests for the recipe so I thought I’d share these easy yet stunningly beautiful dessert that is sure to wow your guests!
All you’ll need is cake, fresh strawberries and my yogurt and whipped cream frosting. You’ll also need mini jars like these or mason jars.
For the cake I used left over cupcakes from the day before which I cut in small pieces. You can also use my vanilla pound cake or store bought cake.
I started off by placing strawberry slices in the bottom of the mini jars. Then I added the chunks of cake and a layer of frosting. I repeated these steps until the jars were full. I then topped the jars with a strawberry, flowers and voila!

Yogurt & Whipped Cream Frosting
2 cups of cool whip
3 tablespoons sugar
2 cups Greek yogurt (plain)
1-2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- In a mixing bowl combine all the ingredients and gently fold until smooth.
- That’s it! Super easy!
